  • Shall we believe this company?
  • Is it good we pay deposit money or registration fee?
  • Whom we should contact for any issues arise?
  • What is the interview process? Salary? etc.
As the internet is acting as a hub and connecting the whole world, we have to be aware of scammers and spamming websites that deceive the people.

Here are some tips on finding scamming and legitimate websites.

  • Registration and deposit money:
If any website asks to deposit money for employment in the name of registration fee, packages or kit, you should be aware of those websites.
They may be fraudulent. They usually advertise like immediate employment after money transfer.
Generally websites like this urge you to register and pay without much thought.
Once you have paid, you will receive no confirmation or information regarding your work. You will not be able to access them because they will never respond to your emails related to work or payment.

Where as generally a legit company or website won't ask any deposit money for registration and they never promise anything like immediate employment after payment.

  • Explore the website:
Let us explore the website that offers home at jobs. Generally the websites do not give any information about the company profile, employee details .
These websites normally use personal or generic email address like gmail, yahoo etc. They do not have or reveal company email address.
In the contact page the address information may be empty or bogus.

Legit company or website have content rich pages. They give details of their company profile in detail and employee details.
These companies use proper company email address. They mention clear contact address in the contact page and employee details .

  • Being aware of attractive words:

Generally scam websites or companies advertise with very attractive words in the flyers, banners or text ads to get the attention of the job seekers.
They offer unusual benefits and attractive packages. They offer unbelievably lump sum money for little work.

They will try to attract us by words like more money in short period of time.

Where as legit jobs would not say attractive words or list unusual benefits.
These jobs rely on hard work, instead of not promising of quick money.

  • Job description and role:

Scam jobs won't provide proper job description in detail. They won't ask job seeker's experience, qualifications, skills and previous employment history.
These companies won't conduct proper interviews or evaluation programs for appointing an employee.

They do not suggest training period or if they suggest they expect fee for training too.

Legit jobs will list the requirements they expect from employee in detail.
They ask us to provide a comprehensive resume with qualifications, skills, experience and previous employment history.
